DISCLOSURE is a powerful film about Yolonda and her daughter Charlie ripped apart by illness, an unjust system and a failure to face the truth. As Charlie’s mother, Yolonda, health takes a turn for the worse, an adamant Charlie still has hope. Loyal, she insists on sticking by her mother’s side until the very end. But when her school begins to notice Charlie’s absence, she is placed under a system of surveillance and Charlie will soon come to find that some decisions are outside of her control.

Lesley Johnson

Lesley Johnson’s work discusses complex societal issues surrounding the politics of ‘place’ through a local or community perspective. Her filmography includes short fiction and doc works that have screened internationally, recently, Shadow of a Giant and Princess Jack.

Lindsey Addawoo

Lindsey is a writer and emerging filmmaker with a passion for all things TV, pop culture, and Beyoncé. A graduate of Ryerson University’s School of Media she worked as a freelance news writer and chase producer at CTV News. With a strong interest in sci-fi, fantasy, supernaturalism, and cultural mythology, she is active in the speculative fiction world.
